MidKnight
This is where the magic will happen. Mwa-ha-ha.
First a general overview of the character MidKnight and his powers, ad a general timeline between the two comics he appears in.
The Story
-----------------------------------
(This is a terribly compacted storyline, built mostly from memory)
MidKnight was origingally a freelance photographer named Wilbert (Will). He was married to a beautiful Irish girl named Ayla, who was pregnant with twins. Late one evening he is called to take some candids of a murder scene by the PD where he is gifted the Shadowblade by the goddess Fand. I use the term "Gifted" rather loosely, as he has it thrust upon him by chance more than anything else. He looses his memory and wakes up in the alleyway a transformed man. He struggels to reclaim his life and defeat the power mad "servant of God" Sonne.
About a year and a half after the conclusion of the MidKnight storyline the Dark Beginings storline begins. MidKnight teams up with Feyde, Dr. Petet Van Helsing, and the mysterious Dark Awakening to combat a stream of supernatural villains that have begun appearing in the city.
MidKnights Powers
-----------------------------------
MidKnights powers stem from his possesion of the Shadowblade. In any instance in which he is without it he is virtually powerless.
First and foremost he has considerably more stamina than the average human. His standing vertical jump is a great deal higher (around 12 ft on average) and his running speed is dizzying. For an upwards of two minutes at a time he can call forth a great purst of control and speed into his form, which allows to flurry attacks with speeds that seem a blur to an average person.
In conditions other that full daylight, MidKnight can use his connection to the Plane of Shadows to blend into any shadows around him, making him practically invisible. He also posses a limited ability to shadow jump, that is enter one shadowy area and reappear through another within his range of vision.
His form is constantly blanketed in shadow, which makes his exact location difficult to acertain. This, coupled with his incresed speed and reflexes, makes landing a blow on him nigh-impossible. His mind is also cloaked in shadow, making any attempt to attack his mind an extreme task.
